After being on Medium for several years, I can say with great confidence that they cater to their largest demographic. White men who make $100k/year or more. At risk of being suppressed further, I’ll say it. This is why so many writers are leaving in droves and starting their own platforms.

Maybe they don’t see it yet, but we certainly do. Medium will be the white man’s echo chamber soon (if it isn’t already).
