Get Your Own Protest : An Open Letter To White Supremacists

White Supremacists. You guys are always trying to take credit for other people’s hard work. Am I right?

In keeping with tradition, you meatheads actually think that the low ratings in the NFL this last weekend happened because you decided to start an NFL Boycott.

No. No. No.

You don't get to do that. We won't let you.

We’ve been on the Boycott The NFL train for about a year. You assholes don’t get to take credit for anything we’ve been working on, just like we won’t take credit for booing during the National Anthem.

That was all you guys. You need to own that shit.

We're not gonna let you twist the narrative to seem like it's in your favor. We also refuse to let you change the subject.

This is about inequality and injustice.

We don't have beef with the flag, the troops, the pledge, or ANY first responders.

We have beef with the systemic racism, the murders of unarmed civilians at the hands of the state, and the lack of accountability for the officers who commit those murders. That's the gist of what our beef is. Get it right.

We won’t stop until more people start listening. Until more people start taking action against the oppression of minorities. The dialogue around the country is growing.

Guess what?

We want more though.

Oh yeah we do.

We want the powers that be to hear us, to address the problem, and to come together with their respective communities to find meaningful solutions to these issues.

Applying these solutions is what comes next and we're ready.

We are on the side of all that is good, right, and just. I don't know what side you're on, but if you aren't on the side of the greater good, where does that leave you?

So, I'm sorry wypipo, this ain't about you, it's about us. It's always been about us. This is our fight. We are going to win.

You won't stop us. Get over it.
