I appreciate this piece. What I don’t appreciate are all the non-Black folks who continue to try and make sense of why Black voters are voting for Biden instead of listening to the message here. Similarly, we have non-Latino folks trying to explain why Latinos are voting for Sanders — also not listening.

Meanwhile, those same folks can’t seem to resist using racially discriminatory stereotypes to describe our respective voting blocs. That’s the absurdity minorities in America have to live with.

If these folks would simply just look in the mirror before opening their mouths (or thumb-fucking their keyboards), they might just begin to understand where some of us are coming from.
