I had an editor change my headline to “riot” on one of my articles at one of the news sites I write for. I approved it only because they didn’t make any changes to the article itself. It initially caught me off guard but I decided not to fight it because the messaging was still there.

We are definitely seeing it a lot more in conservative circles though. They’re being awfully dismissive about the attack on the Capitol.
