In Latin America, they are working towards a unified solution by electing leftist leaders into power (see: Bolivarian Revolution). Many of the countries involved are no longer dependent on the International Monetary Fund (IMF) due to policies that allow them to be independent of outside influence.

The problem is that a large part of solving their issues relies on cutting off the colonialist control of their resources. The U.S. doesn’t like paying a fair amount for those resources and therefore “intervene” in every election that’s not friendly to U.S. corporate interests.

It becomes more evident when a company such as Tesla sees a huge increase in stock value just days after the unrest began in a nation (Bolivia) that holds one of the largest lithium reserves in the world — a key component to the future of technological advancement.
