This struck me because the #MeToo movement inspired me to tell my story of being sexually assaulted as a child, yet, it ignored me. I received support from a few very caring women who also inspire me to do better and keep writing. In other words, the women who supported me were already friends and colleagues. But the movement? The movement left me out as I was attacked by toxic people on social media just for sharing my story.

Pretty sad commentary if you ask me. Thank you for all you do, Marley.
