While I totally understand why you did this, I think I’m with the half that said you shouldn’t have written it. It just comes off as vindictive as hell.

Look, I’ve supported you against accusations of misappropriation of funds because I know you didn’t steal money from people, at least not purposely. And if/when you did (as with the $3 from the PAC), you returned it.

I’ve also stood up for DeRay as well against what I felt were attempts at character assassinations. Same as I’ve done for you. I have nothing but love and respect for the work both of y’all do. But this back and forth bs needs to stop.

Again, I understand why you posted this. I just wish you wouldn’t have.

Either way, and though y’all don’t personally know me (maybe that helps), I would like to offer myself up to help squash this. At the end of the day WE are all on the same team. And for a guy like me, who works his ass off for my relatively tiny platform, it pains me to be stuck in the middle trying to figure this all out.

I don’t want to be in a position where I have to side with one or the other which is why I’m making this offer to try and help.

Please, for the love of the movement, Shaun King and DeRay Mckesson, hear me out. I think I speak for everyone when I ask for this to end. Holla at me guys. Y’all both know where and how to find me. I’m here for this.
